Migration Law

The ability to choose where to live

Globalization allows you to build a business from anywhere in the world, however, it encourages people to look for countries that can offer friendly environment for business development. By saying friendly business environment, we mean not only the ability to quickly establish a company, but also to take advantage of a competitive tax environment, obtain a residence permit and travel freely within the European Union.

ESAS CONSULTING assists clients obtain temporary residence permits under the grounds of business development and for highly qualified employees (also known as the EU Blue Card).

In the first case, a residence permit under the grounds of business development can be obtained if a person establishes a company that meets certain criteria and begins to carry out economic activities as a shareholder or director of the company.

In the second case, the EU Blue Card allows highly qualified employees from third countries (non-EU) to work in an EU if they:

  • have a high professional qualification (e.g. university degree and have an employment contract or job offer for at least 1 year) and
  • such employees are paid a relatively high average monthly salary (around 2,600 EUR).
